1. Introduction
These Customer Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KeynoBite platform, including:
- websites,
- mobile applications,
- ordering interfaces,
- QR ordering systems,
- customer accounts,
- and related digital services.
By accessing or using KeynoBite, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the platform.
2. Nature of the Platform
KeynoBite is a restaurant commerce and operational technology platform.
KeynoBite provides software infrastructure enabling customers to:
- discover restaurants,
- browse menus,
- place orders,
- arrange pickup or merchant-managed delivery,
- access restaurant storefronts,
- and interact with participating restaurant vendors.
KeynoBite acts solely as:
- a technology platform,
- software infrastructure provider,
- operational workflow system,
- and digital commerce enablement layer.
KeynoBite does not:
- prepare food,
- operate restaurants,
- employ restaurant staff,
- operate delivery fleets,
- or act as the seller of restaurant products.
Each restaurant/vendor operates independently and remains solely responsible for its products, pricing, operations, fulfillment, and customer service.
3. Customer Accounts
Certain platform features may require account registration.
By creating an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate information,
- maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials,
- promptly update account details where necessary,
- and remain responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
KeynoBite reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where misuse, fraud, unlawful conduct, or security concerns arise.
4. Orders & Merchant Transactions
When you place an order through KeynoBite, the transaction occurs directly between:
- you,
- and
- the respective restaurant/vendor.
The respective restaurant/vendor remains solely responsible for:
- menu accuracy,
- pricing,
- food preparation,
- order fulfillment,
- packaging,
- delivery coordination,
- product quality,
- and customer service relating to the order.
Restaurants may accept, reject, modify, or cancel orders based on operational availability.
KeynoBite facilitates operational workflows and digital ordering infrastructure but is not the merchant or seller of restaurant products.
5. Payments & Checkout
Where payment functionality is available:
- payments are processed directly through licensed payment service providers (PSPs),
- restaurants/vendors may maintain their own independent payment processing relationships,
- and transactions are processed within secure PSP-managed environments.
KeynoBite does not:
- store customer card data,
- process payments directly,
- operate wallets,
- custody customer funds,
- or settle restaurant transaction funds.
Applicable charges may include:
- order value,
- applicable taxes,
- delivery charges (where applicable),
- merchant-defined fees,
- and payment processing charges where disclosed.
All applicable charges will be displayed prior to checkout confirmation.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund eligibility may vary depending on:
- restaurant policies,
- order preparation status,
- operational circumstances,
- and applicable laws.
Orders may not be cancellable once preparation or fulfillment has commenced.
Refund requests relating to:
- incorrect items,
- failed delivery,
- damaged products,
- or operational disputes
may require review involving the respective restaurant/vendor and applicable payment providers.
KeynoBite may assist in operational coordination of disputes but does not guarantee refund outcomes.
7. Delivery & Fulfillment
Restaurants/vendors may choose to offer:
- merchant-managed delivery,
- independent third-party logistics fulfillment,
- or customer pickup options.
Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to:
- operational conditions,
- traffic,
- weather,
- restaurant delays,
- or third-party logistics factors.
KeynoBite itself does not operate a delivery fleet or employ delivery personnel.
Any delivery personnel involved in fulfillment operate independently under the responsibility of the respective restaurant/vendor or logistics provider.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- misuse the platform,
- engage in fraudulent activity,
- place abusive or fake orders,
- harass restaurant staff or delivery personnel,
- compromise platform security,
- or violate applicable laws.
KeynoBite reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse or unlawful conduct is identified.
9. Platform Availability
KeynoBite may:
- update platform features,
- modify services,
- conduct maintenance,
- restrict access,
- or suspend platform functionality
where reasonably necessary for operational, security, or technical purposes.
Continuous uninterrupted access is not guaranteed.
10. Intellectual Property
All platform technology, branding, software systems, interfaces, workflows, content, and intellectual property associated with KeynoBite remain the property of KeynoBite or its licensors.
Users may not:
- reproduce,
- reverse engineer,
- copy,
- resell,
- or commercially exploit
platform systems without authorization.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KeynoBite shall not be liable for:
- food quality issues,
- restaurant operational failures,
- delivery delays,
- fulfillment disputes,
- customer losses,
- indirect damages,
- or third-party conduct.
Restaurants/vendors remain solely responsible for their own operational activities and customer transactions.
12. Privacy
Customer information is handled in accordance with the KeynoBite Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
13. Changes to Terms
KeynoBite may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the platform following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
